Frequently Asked Questions
What materials do I need to start macrame?
You can begin with 3–5 mm cotton cords, a wooden dowel or ring, measuring tape, and sharp scissors. Our beginner courses include a checklist and substitutions.
Are courses live or self-paced?
Most lessons are self-paced with optional live community critique sessions. You learn on your schedule without time pressure.
Do you offer refunds?
If a course substantially differs from its description, contact us within 14 days. We’ll review and make it right per our Terms.
How do I get feedback on my work?
Post progress photos and notes in your cohort thread. Peers and mentors respond within about 24 hours with specific, kind suggestions.
Is macrame safe for kids?
Yes, under adult supervision. Use blunt tools and avoid long unattended cords. Our family course provides safety guidance.
Can I teach or host workshops using your materials?
Please contact us. We offer educator licenses for workshops with clear brand and content guidelines.
Will I need special software or equipment?
No. A modern browser is enough. Optional: a phone stand for recording practice, and a simple mounting rack for larger pieces.
Do you have certificates?
We provide course completion attestations highlighting skills covered. They are not formal academic credentials.
